We had a short sale of minimal volume to start this second week of Strawberry season. Very nice zucchini on the sale floor reminds us that the produce rush is about to begin. Have you ever used Garlic Scapes! The seed structure is removed from the growing garlic plant to direct the energy of growth to the bulb. Scapes give a mild garlic flavoring to any dish and keep very well. Try em. Tis the season. One grower promises Green Beans for Wednesday! There will be more nice flowers and plant materials.
